I used this for the first time this week on a 25 mile bike ride with my children. It performed very well. While riding I was barely aware it was there - to be fair it wasn't very full but there were no problems riding the bike. Part of the ride was along a bridal path which turned out to be far muddier and bumpier than expected. The trailer did well through puddles and up and down ruts in the mud, which I wasn't expecting and won't do again with it! Easy to assemble and attach. We are going to buy a second one for my husband's bike and plan to use them for a cycle camping tour in France at Easter.

We have two of these single-wheel trailers; one 'Bob' and one 'Adventure' - the 'Bob' is the original idea and came from America, and the 'Adventure' is probably made in someones front room in China. Having said that, my 'Adventure', although not as well finished as the 'Bob', now has over 50,000 kilometres under its single wheel, without any hint of a problem - and it's been pretty well loaded on most of my trips! The Boss, aka my 'better half', prefers the 'Bob' on long-ish tours (5000 km +) but can't explain why - just feminine intuition, I expect. For absolute peace of mind if you are going to tour hard buy the 'Bob', because I've seen trailers similar to the 'Adventure' with some pretty ropey welding - although never a broken one yet. Not sure about the red finish - I prefer matt black, with a good long brightly-coloured flag on top to show drivers that they are approaching a cycling road train. One point: whichever trailer you choose, change the tyre to a Schwalbe Marathon Plus to prevent any punctures. Happy touring!Read full review

Good addition to my camping gear. Inspired me to explore the countryside. I used it on a 4 days trip around Scotland. It worked fine, I had some problems: a small cut on my hand due an edge on the bottom of the trailer, the trailer connection came of a few times meanly on very sharp turns, the dry bag get a puncture on the back due rubbing on a release lever. But despite of all, still happy with it and I will try to fix this problems for the next trip.

Bought this because i didnt want to splash out 5 times as much on a bob yak. Instructions were fine, as were most of the finishings. One weld - where the rear mud guard goes - was a bit out but was sorted with 5 minutes filing. The wheel needed to be recentred too for the axle to fit evenly in the stays. The real weakness is the locking mech, in which the screws need to be fully depressed in groove for solid lock - it takes a bit of practice. Also the lock mech sits awkwardly with the skewer ends. Change the ends for smaller ones or use a sharp knife to remove some plastic. However, i took this on 300 mile ride around cornwall devon and somerset and had no problem. You will feel the load on climbs but thats trailers in general. It operated well on fast descents too. It also handled miles of bumpy towpaths, and was fine to unfasten and carry for ferries and trains. I would suggest a good bungy to hold the arms against the frame when carrying it. I had mine filled with about 25 kilos and it took it fine. I left the bag open against frame and filled insides with waterproof dry sacks. I would suggest making a lid from tarp that would cover it all as the bag supplied has no zip and is really designed to sit nicely against the frame - there is a space for the flag to fit through. Overall a sturdy and good buy that did the businessRead full review

We have two boys - 4 and 3 year old. They ride their own bikes but can't keep up and they get tired/bored. We can now load their bikes on the trailer put them on the bike seats behind our bikes and off we go, able to reach the desired destinations. We even fit a small bag on it too! It rides nicely - recommend it!!!
