This film, produced by James Cameron, was bought because I was in the mood for a dramatisation of real events. It charts the relationship between father and son as they and their companions struggle to find their way out of an uncharted cave system in Papua - New Guinea, whilst water levels rise. The tension and dialogue between father and son is a bit predictable, but this is more than offset by fabulous filming. The atmosphere is often almost unbearably tense and claustrophobic. Lost, in the dark, underwater, and often having to tackle some serious climbs!! Al though I am unlikely to watch this again, I shall hang on to it for others to see. Definately worth spending time with.
The value of the product for new was excellent value, and no postal cost which pleased me the film I had never seen before and was very original, the characters were powerfully portrayed, and the film made me think after and reflect.
