I bought these headphones firstly because i have used Sennheiser 'phones since realising that they were far superior to the 'broadcast standard' Beyer Dt100's that i used to use. I already have a pair of HD25-1's, so I am familiar with the quality, their only fault was the very short lead. These phones have a longer lead but the earpiece mounting tends to move around and twist the cable- a minor hasle and not an issue when you're wearing them. The sound is excellent as expected with an extended bass response that is superior to any other phones that I've used. Stereo imaging and clarity is also superb and to hear any improvement in sound quality you would have to spend many times the price of these headphones.
Decent build quality, but the original is still better. The material that comes in contact with your ears has a bit of a "plastic" feel, while the original was more "leathery" and felt more natural. However everything else is quite good, they fit perfectly (at least on my HD25s), ergonomics and compression are good and I could not notice any difference in sound. It remains to see how long they'll last, but overall I would recommend this item.

I had to wait a little longer than expected for the delivery, but I'm very happy with them all the same.

This headphones are just the best dj headphones I've ever used during my (13 year) ongoing career. Practically unbreakable, maybe you'll need to change the cord but that's it. They don't look very attractive but at least u know where your money gone, I mean if u wanna buy a profi headphones not good looking piece of plastic. The quality of sound is excellent offering extraordinarily deep bass, crystal clear middle and a crispy treble sound. Closed cup design provides a brilliant isolation from the outside noise making them perfect for both club dj-ing and studio use. They maybe lacking in design a bit but are light weight at only 140 gr. and therefore very comfortable for use over a long period. All parts: cable, earpads, cups and headband are repleacable and easily obtainable from a dealer. HD 25's may be a little pricey, around £129, but I should definitely consider them as a good investment. If we compare them with all the leading headphone brands Sony MDR700, Technics RPDJ 1210, Pioneer HDJ 1000 I've been used before, HD 25 SP's are by far the best.Read full review
