I tried various sticky pads designed to hold a rear view mirror in place but none of them worked - each time mirror fell off after a couple of days, or in one case after a couple of hours. I even tried super glue but it didn't work either. So I got some Granville Bonder. It has done the job that others couldn't and it's simple and quick to use. An excellent product all round.

Product arrived all in good order. Mirror mounting shoe and windscreen meticulously cleaned. The supplied mesh which, apparently, contains an activator for the adhesive was chopped into 3 small pieces for some obscure reason and none of the pieces was big enough to cover the shoe. (Mine is a large Jeep mirror). I had to try and cut 2 pieces to shape and align them on the back of the shoe after applying the adhesive. Not easy. Applied the mirror shoe to the windscreen. Pressure on for 2 minutes. Gave it 24 hours curing time. Stuck like glue, excuse the pun. Fixed the mirror back on, went for a drive, no problem. Job done. 2 days later, you've guessed it, it fell off. Don't waste your time or money. Get a suction fitting. Whose sat-nav ever fell off?

Does the job easily. Doubted it would do the job well because it contains only 2ml of glue. There is a mesh inside package to cut into shape as needed. Follow the procedures to get best results and Clean surfaces before starting. Wait a few hours before refitting the mirror on the base to allow the glue to cure and "carry" the weight

I bought this a while ago and to start we only have 2 shots at it. The glue is good maybe for those really summer days, but since in U.K that is a rare thing, it's obviously that i spent the money and still have the rear mirror to fix.
