Only way to go.
This is the only way you should bother to replace a damaged spindle, pulley, bearing. There's just no sense in buying one or two new parts disassembling and reassembling everything. This way with three bolts you are done. They should include the bolts with the purchase as off and I will buy a competitor's product that has the bolts. Almost always you will need the self tapping bolts to install as the old ones will twist off upon removal. This was an almost brand new mower that someone hit something with and damage so the bolts were perfect and came right out and reusable. Right spindle, wrong blade mount.
I ordered this spindle and it fit my mower, but the mower blade mount is different. My mower blade is a star pattern. The spindle was a 3 point mount. My mower blade didn't fit. I threw away the original box and packing so I don't have a printed part number to research it. REPLACEMENT TROYBILT MTD DECK BLADE SPINDLE ASSEMBLY
The spindle was as described, and a was a fantastic price. The only issue was that the original from the factory had tapped holes for the screws. This replacement had through holes. Troy Bilt deck spindles
Components for the 46" deck, all spindle dimensions are correct, sealed bearings require no maintenance. These spindles require self tapping bolts to mount to the deck so make sure you have the correct self tappers on hand. Most of mine broke off while removing the old spindles, so I had to locate new ones. Works great, back to mowing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
