My Favorite WiFi Thermostat!
I have 6 of these thermostats. I was early in converting to WiFi thermostats. These were originally sold at Home Depot. I don’t believe they are available new at this point. So I was glad to find one on Ebay as one of my older ones stopped working.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great thermostats, with one little issue.
This is my third radio thermostat I have installed... two are my own, this particular unit is a gift to a friend. I love the interface, simple. I also like the "run time" counter, kind of neat to see how much the heat or a/c runs and the temperature follows. The only issue I have with these units, is you need a device that can see ad-hoc networks. Either a laptop, desktop or smartphone using WiFi. Without rooting, my S7 could not see the thermostat's built in network and an old iPhone had to be used. That is my only complaint of these units. Not sure if other WiFi thermostats suffer this problem or not. All that being said, would I buy these again? Absolutely! Would I recommend them? Best WiFi Thermostat Out There
This is my second CT50. I had one for 8 years, but unfortunately a voltage spike due to a power outage took it out. Prior to buying this second one I tried a newer Honeywell unit, terrible. I took it back to HD and bought the CT50 online. Most of the new units that I reviewed online had complicated touch screen setting instructions. You can do all the settings for the CT50 on a web browser. Also the unit keeps 7 days of records regarding on-off times of heat and cool. WORST ON THE MARKET
So I bought this for it's WIFI capabilities... BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE !!! STAY AWAY - DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP !!! First of all it comes with a governmental oversight EPA per-programed temperature schedule which you CAN NOT GET RID OF... Extremely complicated to program and to set the temperature you desire... Even if you try to switch to the "simple" program, it still does what our beloved EPA wants and NEVER keeps the temperature you want !!!! Great price, open source so folded into home automation easily
