Very good strings nice for a mellow tone bring better sounds from laminate ukuleles, reds are nice too, but if you want a bright sound clear fluorocarbon are better. Martin are very bright and Worth strings are slightly quieter I have found

I have tried these strings on two ukes. The first cost £35 changing to these from the supplied strings was like buying a much more expensive uke. I lost that uke, but, as I was well into uke playing by then, I spent a bit more (£65) on the replacement - same effect. I used the clear white version of these strings.

I bought one set after a recommendation in Ukulele For Dummies and was so impressed I immediately ordered another two sets. What a difference they make, I now prefer playing my Ukulele to my Guitar.

High quality strings mean you can trust them to function properly without reserve- no dull areas, no fuzziness, uniform structure. These strings make me sound good.
