This book is great value for money at less than half the original price and the copy I got was really like new. The content is well written and although I haven't finished it yet I can recommend it as not only a good read but an informative work of history on a period not that well known apart from the film 'Zulu' and that didn't deal in any way with Garnet Wolseley the book's subject. Readers might not be aware that Sir Garnet who rose to be C in C of the British army was the older brother of the founder of the Wolseley Sheep Shearing business that became the Wolseley Motor Car Co.so in a nebulous way this book could be interesting to old car fans as well as history buffs.
