I have found this punch set to be a very useful & good product, I have used it mainly for punching out holes in clock faces, but I know it will come in handy for other things in the future. It is a well made item & very good value for money, I would recommend it to anyone who has a use for this type of item. Many thanks!

first time I used the smallest punch to make some holes I tapped it with a plastic mallet and it folded in half. poor quality. not a good buy SORRY.

Good overall, though unfinished as a product. The sides were razor sharp and unfit for handling while the punching edges were as blunt as a butter knife. If you have a rotary tool or a sharpening stone, they can be easliy sharpened and blunted where necessary to be remade into excellent tools, even capable of punching through thin metal without blunting or chipping. I used mine to punch precision shims out of 0.2mm aluminium sheet, although I suspect they could even take on 0.5mm aluminium if used and sharpened correctly.

I needed these to make felt washers - big holes cut out with little holes put inside. Seemed to do the job - it took four or five hard hits with a hammer to cut the felt, but they cut cleanly AND made pretty big holes in the wooden block underneath. I can't really compare with any other punches, but they seem to do the job and they were certainly pretty cheap.

At the price you can't complain but don't expect too much out of the box. You will need to spend some bench time with a rotary burr and some needle files to clean up the (many) rough edges. Then you will have a nice set of punches that will last for years.
