Having been an artist for many years, one thing you learn is, matching the quality of the paper to your chosen medium is very important. This is a mid range paper, quite a bit thicker than the average printer paper, it lends itself to both many types of crafting, and art. It absorbs well, allowing it to be used for light watercolouring, (it doesn't lend itself to being stretched, or heavily wetted, prior to professional painting) ideal for inking, stamping, coloured pencils, poster paint, and sketching. Also using acrylic paints and inks it's ideal for Gelli plate use, Card making and Dy machines. However, Avoid using it for oil based mediums, for example oil paints, or oil pastels, this paper isn't suitable. The paper is too smooth, the oil spreads throughout the paper, causing it to buckle and stretch. With light use, I've found it has quite a decent low 'bleed through' level. Meaning normal use of markers and paints etc, does not mark any paper placed beneath it. However, heavier use, especially with markers you layer with, or in anything where you use a heavier water wash, I wouldn't advise it. As a med range paper, at a more than reasonable price I highly recommend it. It still continues to suprise me when I find another craft it lends itself successfully to.Read full review

Excellent quality card for my comb binding pages. A tad on the expensive side, considering it's only 50 sheets, I would have liked to purchase a team instead, as I'm going to need a lot for a project I'm doing.
