I bought one of these for home use to compare to the older Newmark models that I restore. It has a similar layout to the technics 1210. The bonus is that you can connect this turntable to your computer to transfer vinyl to MP3 or other formats. The deck is well built and does everything numark say it will. I was a DJ in the eighties and only had turntable's to mix with! . I can confirm that mine on test did not speed up or slow down and it represents excellent value for money. Sound quality when compared to my 1210 and atlp120 was about the same. My only criticism would be that the tt250 is line rarther than phono. For those with knowledge of the ttx this was never intended as a replacement. I prefer the audiotechnica atlp120 solely because it has switchable line and phono. The rest performance wise was the same.Read full review

No surprises here. The decks are built well and easy to put together (the arm and needle). I searched around before buying and the price was average. You could probably get cheaper secondhand but I specifically wanted brand new so paid the extra. Good for both professional and personal use. I'm a part-time DJ so wanted something not too pricey but also looked the part.

I bought this turntable to replace my aging sanyo direct drive player. (30+ years old) which my son took to university with him. TheTT250USB seems well built and it sound very good to me even with the standard cartridge. It was a bit fiddly to set up but the instructions were clear ( downloaded these as not in the box) As a refurbished a few marks but generally in good condition box was very tatty as is often the case with refurbished goods. I have not tried the usb yet and am only using it to play my extensive collection of 70s and 80s Vinyl and so far I am very pleased with it. I think it represents excellent value for money.

If you thinking about buying one of these for beat mixing your going to be very disappointed. on paper the specs of this turntableis very good. But to use for beat mixing they just are not up to it, the torque on the motor is rubbish, when your mixing you need to sometimes tap the sides or push slightly to keep the beat, if you do it with these they make a squealing sound. These are very badly made stay will clear of them they are rubbish.
