Have used this very effective product for a few years, purchased from our (otherwise excellent) optician. However, cost of the 150ml containers jumped to a profiteering £8.95. On-line trade-only website gave RRSP as less than £4! I refused to buy any more until '400ml x 2' e-bay source found.

The Solution 30 is excellent when cleaning Spectacle glasses. Solution 30 should NOT be sprayed into old Camera lenses or Microscope objectives , where, the front lens can be dislodged , attacked by the alcohol in Solution 30. Excellent but use with care. Similarly I would be sceptical about spraying into camera lenses.

Being a Zeiss cleaner I thought it would be a 'dry' sloution to 'blow' clean my prime mirror in the telescope, doing a test elsewhere there was some slovent residue, so I was not prepeared to wipe the telescope mirror, but at the small cost of the spray it will be kept for other glass cleaning in the future.

It is the only lens cleaner I have used which does not leave smears on my glasses. It sprays precisely on the lens so none is wasted and it polishes off easily. It's worth buying the 450ml can to use on other screens in the house.
