The camera has a great size, great features and is very easy to use. Positive: Makes nice pictures ans has a good depth when you make portraits. The camera is small enough to have a pocket, has a nice flash and good battery time. Negative: Can't make a Multiburst picture as the DSC-T9 could, a big shame, since this was a great feature to i.e. analyze a golfsving. The pictures are a bit blurry due the many megapixels (that we don't even need).
A very nice but extremely compact digital camera. Fiddly to use with its tiny buttons. I had to download the 145 page user manual to find out what its functions were and how to access them. Not an easy task at all. If you are looking for a simple 'point and click' digital camera this is not the one for you. However it is beautifully made and a delight to handle. I just wish it was easier to use. Too many menus with too many options. Battery life is good though and the images I have managed to take all look good. To sum up, a good looking camera that produces good results once you have mastered the very steep learning curve on how to use it.

A handy camera which takes great photos with its Carl Zeiss lens. This is my second W300. The first lasted 12 years leaving behind a memory of several thousand quality snaps. Sadly the brand is discontinued. This one I got as used in a good shape.

There is nothing to really dislike about the Sony DSC W300.It is a decent camera and I found it straightforward and easy to use even with those extra features.
