A very detailed model of a lorry which was built between 1975 - 1982 The F89 was years ahead of its time with sleeper cab and 320 bhp engine . It was built as a long distance truck and many uk hauliers put them to work going to the middle east. In 1975 British lorry builders Atkinson ERF Foden were still building day cabs without air ride seats and low powered engines which led to Volvo taking the market. Also its made in steel and plastic These models are not toys but are for model collectors; The corgi models do go up in value over time and are a good investment, if they have been well looked after.
