Crispus Attucks by Dharathula Millender
My children loved this book & I couldn't stand to miss something as they read it. It is a great biography of a man sadly overlooked in the history of our nation. I bought the book for my children's homeschool reading. Highly recommend it for elementary age children.

Winter Days in the Big Woods by L.I. Wilder
1 of 1 found this helpful My children are in love the Laura Ingalls Wilder books. We read them as a family at bedtime & try to do 1 chapter per evening. But, often, we have to read the second one b/c we can't get enough. They are wonderful. We use them as a part of our homeschooling curriculum. I read them now... they will read them in a couple of years. They are also excellent for describing prairie life and family life. Challenges, discipline, music, stories, chores.... it is all described & you feel that you are there with the Ingalls family. Must read!

The Magic School Bus Gets Eaten by Degen, Cole, Relf
My kids love this books. We use them to supplement our elementary science reading in homeschooling. They want to read them all... as soon as the mail arrives! They provide detail about scientific subjects but in a way that kids can't get enough of. It really brings science to life! Highly recomment ANY Magic School Bus!
