OK if you can do soldering.
I wanted to re-wire plug to replace a broken plug for my 12V cool box. The new plug I bought came with a short length of wire attached inside. When I opened the plug they had soldered fittings. Had to de-solder the short cable off and re-solder the cable for the cool box adaptor. I would not advise this if you do not have a soldering facility.
