Fast rose maker.
If you need a lot of roses, this is the tool to use. Not such fine petals as conventional methods but very quick.

A high end camera built to the meet the dreams of real photographers
I bought this camera to improve my chances with wildlife pictures suitable for subject matter for art work.
My previous camera was a rebel XTi which has proven to be a very good product for this purpose except for three areas. A bit specialist I suppose but then most camera enthusiasts are.
I went to a red kite feeding station and with the XTi I managed to take a serious number of shots good enough for my needs except that in continuous shooting mode, I took three separate shots at 3 frames a second and found that each shot was almost identical to the other two because it seems the birds wings beat at 3 per second. Then I noticed that the frame rate reduced dramatically as the camera image processing was not fast enough. I already knew that the 10 megapixels, although good for most things did not have enough scope for cropping to get the details I was looking for. So I looked for something a little better and found the 7d met these shortcomings well. It has two processors, one for image processing, and one to run the camera so you can shoot at 8 frames a second continuously. It even uses the same lenses as the XTi, so that saved me a bob or two. ( I had a standard 18/55 zoom which came with the camera and a 70-300 ultrasonic zoom lens both of which work perfectly with the 7d and It also takes the CF cards as well). Then I started to play with the camera and found that there are so many convenient instantly selectable features that I doubt if I will ever use even half of them. You note that the size / weight rating is only 4/5 because it is heavy compared to some of its successors but I will never need to buy another camera. One big advantage is that you can calibrate each lens to the body and it remembers settings for each lens so I am guaranteed that the camera will produce first class images, crisp and sharp, and they blow up well after cropping.
The low light performance is awesome with its instantly setable massive Iso range and its automatic ability to control and almost eliminate noise even at the higher settings.
The video feature is full hogh definition, 1920x1080 and with stereo sound I do not need to carry my video camera around. The video quality is excellent.
I am so pleased with it , I have now purchased a 15/85 wide angle zoom lens which I find is a perfect match for the camera.
I find that every time I pick up the camera I find a new feature that I have not previously used so it is quite exciting.
If you only have SD cards then you can always but a high speed adaptor for less than a tenner so you can still use them!
Perhaps I should download a manual to find out just how good it really is!.

Fat free fryer
1 of 1 found this helpful Very Good value for money, sometimes a little tricky to get timings right and relatively economical in use. specialist cookbooks help. Sizewise, it copes with enough for three portions comfortably. comes complete with chip drum and spit suitable for roasting a small chicken. could do with a little more clearance under the drum if you want to cook your fish at the same time as your chips.
