Superb! Fixed a lovely CD player for pennies
1 of 1 found this helpful My Marantz CD player had stopped ejecting the disk tray or bring it back in. Even when I manually moved the tray in and out, the CD player was not correctly reading or playing the disk. With nothing to lose, I stripped it down. It was quite tricky to figure out to remove the CD tray mechanism, but it was easy to see that the original wheel was not turning - it had crumbled in place and seized. A bit of googling showed this to be a common problem and and a youtube video soon showed how easily others had fixed the problem. The UK price for this item was £9 plus . I ordered this from eBay with expectations of a long wait time and either an item that did not fit, or an item that was sub-standard. How wrong I was - The item arrived in 2 days and is much better quality that the original item. Fitting it was easy - took me less than 10-minutes. And then, to my delight, it all works great again! Recommend this part and eBay.
