Every bit as attractive as the photos suggested. Very pleased with the item. The led light can be set to white or coloured light and also switched off

Ultimate Suet Fat Balls For Wild Birds 12.75kg Equivalent to Approx 150 Fatballs
16 Nov, 2022
Loved by a wide variety of birds
I bought a box of these a while back and all the birds loved them (as did the squirrels!) When they had almost run out, I went for a different brand/seller due to price. Now, though, I've come to realise that my choice was a bit of a false economy because the new variety I picked are just not getting eaten, so it seems they're not particularly enjoyable to the birds. Even the squirrels are choosing not to demolish the other ones, but when I put one of these "ultimate" suet balls out (I still have a few left) it disappears within half an hour. These "ultimate" balls are soft (unlike many other brands I've bought in the past) and they do disintegrate quite easily (which does mean some get broken during transit, especially as it's only a cardboard box for protection) but when that softness means they're easily accessible and edible by all the birds, I don't mind gathering up some bits from the bottom of the box and re-pressing them into ball shapes. My local woodpeckers and nuthatches are especially fond of these balls and they're currently ignoring the other ones I bought, so it looks like I'll be buying more of these soon. I only knocked off one star because they smell a bit and they get broken easily, which are minor inconveniences for me but not for the birds.
