Canon AE-1 35mm Film Camera
I've been shooting film for a while now and have collected several film cameras on my journey. Canon AE-1 is probably one of the finest and toughest camera that I've ever used. The image quality is very nice and the mechanicals inside is simple and easy (which means that you can repair them yourself (if you know what you're doing). Further, it is pretty easy to find them on the internet. However, most of the cameras at that age have squeal or squeak problems which might be a bit annoying. The problem can be solved if you send them to your local camera repair store. Or you can repair them by yourself by ordering a squeal repair kit (lubricant) on eBay. It needs a bit of patient but I've repaired both of my cameras already. If you want to buy this camera, I would recommend you to get the 'Program' version. The normal AE-1 has a pin display light meter which can be quiet hard to see through the view finder. I prefer the LED version which is on the 'Program' version of the camera. Also the 'Program' version's shutter button is position in a way which is easier to click. Its a great camera.

Canon EF 135mm F/2 L. A fast tele prime lens
This is probably the sharpest Canon prime lens that I've ever own when shooting wide open. We are often conscious about the image quality when shooting wide-open. However, for this you can rest assure when shooting wide-open because it will be sharper than you could imagine. There are not much that I would dislike about this lens. Probably the filter size. Because several of my lenses are 77mm but this one is an odd ball of 72mm. There is also some CA when shooting wide open but I think I can live with that. This lens is perfect for portrait work (half body) or candid shots. I use them on my 5Dm2 and it was phenomenal. I think it is worth every penny. Buy it and you will not regret it.
