Simple egg timer panorama device
This product is constructed just like a regular mechanic egg timer. You rotate the upper part to wind it up, and it starts rotating. There is even a signal bell function when the timer countdown is reached.
It will only rotate towards the left. There is no speed or angle adjustment, meaning that 1 hour will give a 360 degree rotation, the half hour setting gives 180 degrees etc.
Build quality seems OK. I use it for my iPhone, but it might be able to carry a small DSLR as advertised - at least if the lens is not very heavy and/or unbalanced.
If you are making a time-lapse not totally horizontal (up or down angle) you will need a ball head on top of this timer. If the ball head is on a tripod under the timer, any angle will cause a non-linear path. This is pure physics, not a flaw with this product.

Get a different bracket for your phone
This product has two design flaws.
One is that the upper rubber thing and the lower rubber padding are not placed towards the back poles. Which means that if you have a thin phone, the phone is placed with no padding.
The other design flaw is that the area of contact point towards the tripod is very small. The base of this product is rounded off, leaving only the small round plastic around the metal screw as contact point.
There are other phone tripod adapters on ebay that work much better.

Safer use of circular saw
This product makes using a circular saw safer. It keeps the materials parallell to the ripping fence. The supplied track attachment should rather be t-shaped than straight. My DW 745 saw has t-shaped track.
