1 of 1 found this helpful First impressions are it's well built and like the VW and AUDI the Germans build a good satnav. After charging it up over night it took a few minutes to lock on the saterlites.The graphics are nice and clear and the icon is very precise in it's direction which l found helpful when exiting roundabouts.There are several features which l found useful such as greying out those letters and numbers not applicable and sugestive address selection to speed up input.Multi route options and arrival times depending on your journey type. Pictures in the bottom left hand corner of the screen indicate the next junction to take and distance with lcd dots that count down the last few yards as you approach. One touch button that shows your overall journey progress and the ability to scroll to any where and (press take me there) and off you go.
The Navigon web site is easy enough to use and l have had no problems downloading the software and map updates. With an 80% discount on 2yr fresh maps if bought within the first 30 days of registration it seemed good value at £16
If l had to find fault it would be there is sometimes a slight delay on the touch screen when inputting data but it's only minor and the battery life could be longer with 2-3 hr's, but overall l'm very impressed.
In comparision to the Garmin 860T which l used for most of 2009 l found this unit to be much easier and far more accurate and at less than half the price a no brainer!!
