Not as good as the original blade.
1 of 1 found this helpful After four years of use I thought I detected some loss of sharpness on my flymo blade and I was aware it might be dangerous to continue to use it for too long (My Dad once had one break on him - but that was a petrol flymo and got very heavy use)...so I bought this one to replace it. From other reviews I was expecting great things, but I was disappointed; the shape is obviously different, but so is the thickness and hardness of the steel, and the original has an enamelled coating. On the new one only the end tips have a chamfer, on the old it went the full length, and I found cutting more work. After two cuts on an unchallenging lawn there were already notches in the cutting edges worse than the old blade had sustained in 4 years, so I took it off, sharpened up the old one and am using that again now. If I get another replacement I'll go for a flymo original.

Simple and effective
A simple device to reduce the gap on a gas cooker stove top, allowing smaller saucepans, espresso pots etc to be used without the danger of them tipping over. Easy to use and move from burner to burner as needed.
