~My Art Philosophy~ For me, the main reason to create is to discover new things and to enter into a kind of meditative process where things flow freely in time ... a kind of freedom from the normal everyday feeling of things. It is a way to enter into a mental zone which focuses me in the current moment ... the dots, line or stroke of paint that is made first affects what will be made next just as a stone in a brook affects the course of the water. So in a way, the artwork just occurs as an expression at that time. The discovery of new things as I paint is a very important feeling to me. My subject matter tends to be those fragmentary passages, the in-between spaces of our lives that we see but often do not notice. For me, these paintings are about the pleasure of seeing; of being cognizant of the world around me and pushing to find an alchemy between the paint, my subject and the feeling. I view each piece as being part of a single, ongoing work. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unusual places. More importantly, to look inside of themselves on a deep and personal spiritual level. I am a travelling artist, based in the UK. I work in a variety of styles, spray paints, space gems, dots, surrealism, abstract, acrylic and lots more..all go into making my Ishi art . Thankyou for looking, I hope you find something you like. Too short.
This is the short handle version NOT the long handle one.

1 of 1 found this helpful where do I start. Not exactly proffesional at all. Don't bother buying this....however...get CREDOs next CD called RHETORIC, which is excellent.
