Call Northside 777
One of James Stewart's best performances of the true story of an innocent man wrongfully imprisoned for 40 years of killing a Chicago policeman. James Stewart plays a newspaper reporter for a Chucago newspaper who investigates a newspaper ad, Call Northside 777 if you have any information on the killing of a Chicago cop in 1933. The wrongfully guilty man, played wonderfully by Richard Conte, whose already been in prison for 12 years whose mother placed the ad & is offering a reward of $5000 for any information on the murder. She's been scrubbing floors all this time saving up for the reward. Stewart meticulously checks out clues leading him thru Chicago neighborhoods looking for any witnesses or information. Based in the true story filmed in 1948.

THE LINCOLN CONSPIRACY Docudrama Documentary 1977

The Truth About The Lincoln Conspiracy
I have been waiting for a long time to find this film on disc since I saw it in 1977. Most of the facts are based on the missing 18 pages of John Wilkes Booth's Diary which were found in the descendants' home of the Secretary of War Stanton who was most likely involved indirectly. Great narration, screenplay & performances especially by Bradford Dillman who plays Booth. A must see Docudrama!
