Not a powder

I bought this powder after watching a video of some one making bike chain lubricant. PTFE powder mixed with molten parrafin wax. The "powder" arrived in a solid lump and would not mix at all. It was almost like PTFE [Plumbers tape] squashed together into a lump and not a granular powder form at all. Not sure if this stuff has a shelf life and was gone off or if it wasn't the real thing
