Worth the price tag
You wonder why you’re spending nearly £100 on a small metal drawer, but when you receive it you realise the weight and quality are worth it. If you’re spending a lot of money on a shiny expensive coffee machine, something like this is what you need to complete the look. Functionality wise it’s very professional. You just need to make sure it’s on a flat surface that is deep enough to also support the drawer on when it’s open, that way you can knock out the coffee in your portafilter, and even though the drawer is small, the box will not move with the impact, you don’t even have to hold or steady it with your other hand. If however you place it so that, when opening it, the drawer hangs over the edge of a worktop, you won’t be able to knock out a portafilter on the drawer without it tipping over, which may be an issue for you if worktop space is limited. Even placing a heavy 7kg grinder on top of the box, won’t be enough if the drawer isn’t supported when open. Overall I would rate this very professional in look and function, and at a fair price.
