Rocktile Rickenbacker style bass
I have owned many basses and have been active in bands and gigging for 25 years I am very impressed so far with this bass.I play a fender USA bass which I've had from new which followed 3 eq Ernie ball musician which was my main bass for 10 years .I've dabbled with loads of "spare basses" but never really been happy with them or gigged them.I can honestly say I can't believe how well made this rocktile bass is.It plays really well intonation is spot on I just needed to tune it and adjust the bridge saddles .I've played a few rickenbackers but I'll be honest there not very good basses despite the hype but if you want to try so.thing completely different that looks really good I would recommend this .It's not a beginners bass but if you have a bit of experience you can make it work and it sounds really good.It does need some better sytrings on it but the ones on it are quite good.athe only issues I've found and I am extremely picky are. Slight chip wheter the neck joint joins the body ,I've just put a somr of varnish on it with a cocktail stick and you can't even see it ,one of the frets is a bit sharp near the top of the neck and finally one the wood on the body is slightly miss matched ie darker were it's laminated but it adds a bit of character if I'm honest.Cannt wait to gig it at ings lane WMC in early Jan
