Nice example of gothic C&W!
This album is an atmospheric gem of eerie love songs and the occasional dip into the macabre. Though I was initially a little disappointed that it was not as dark as I thought it would be musically and lyrically, it's subtlety is ultimately a good thing - it makes for an intimate listen, as the songs tell their tales of unhealthy obsessions, despair, and even of litter pickers on the fantastically venomous 'Garbage Picker'.
A worthy addition to the music collection of anyone who enjoys the likes of Nick Cave, Johnny Cash, White Stripes, etc.?
Look out for the excellent cover of 'Jack On Fire' by The Gun Club towards the end of the album.

Can't beat Royals
I've been using this brand for over a decade now, every once in a while I get tempted by other models of eyelash curler, but have yet to find another that gives such great results - and after all these years they're still reasonably priced.
