In all my years on eBay, I have never encountered a seller like this one. Ordered a 27 year old magazine and asked to be sure to pack well protected. It wasn't and arrived with the top left corner bent and crushed. Messaged seller for a return and was accused of swapping out my purchase with another copy of the same magazine and that I was trying to get it for free. Huh? In what world would that actually happen. This seems to be this seller's go-to response to return requests. eBay refunded.

That ruined warehouse wasn't mine. I proved it by uploading photos to ebay. This damage was not from transport. The copy was very badly damaged. This is not the reason for packing. He won't buy anything from me anymore, he has been blocked. Scandalous behavior of the buyer.

Seller makes ridiculous claims. I posted pictures of the same issue - not swapped. Issue has exact same marks on bottom left. Magazine was damaged but this seller refuses to accept his poor packing is why it arrived damaged. Spoke to eBay who told me has messaged SAME accusation against several previous buyers. Avoid this seller as he is not worth the energy. Asked eBay to step in and they supported. No reason to make this up. Seller needs to own what happened and stop being so defensive. Sad.
