such a gift!
such a gift to finally be able to watch this series in it's entirety!..i am a life long fan of the sox. being born in 1971 i was only 4 when this series happened but i spent my whole youth hearing about it and of course seeing highlights like fisk's game 6 homer. it didnt dawn on me until i got this in the mail, that i was actually gonna be able to see luis tiant, bill lee,and fred lynn in action for the sox. i always had still images in my mind of all these guys genereated from years of staring at my baseball cards, but to now sit down and watch every pitch and every game...it's such a gift to the baseball fan..even if we lost this one..it was still one of the greatest series ever played

guilty pleasure
1 of 1 found this helpful i hear complaints all the time about this show.."it's stupid", "it's going on too long"etc. i feel different about it. i think the show and all it's characters are great fun!.....i think its written with a bit of a sense of humor and with the endless possibilities ..it could keep going on several more seasons in my book. it's no Man Men...i mean you don't need to over think this one at all...just kick back and enjoy the campy supernatural fun!

Rich details and painstaking research make Mad men one of the best TV Shows
Step into the early 60's with Mad Men. Incredible research and set details brings you back to this time as you follow Don Draper and the rest of the Ad men and women. In the 2 year layoff between seasons 4 and 5 i had forgotten how much these painstakingly rich details really made the show so special. the characters and writing are great on top of it. Outside of HBO programming, the best show going on TV.
