Canon 7D - an outstanding camera

I have been using Fuji SLR's with Nikon glass for five years, and when Fujio decided to withdraw from the SLR market I always thought my next upgrade would be to a Nikon. However, after waiting for a year for Nikon to produce a reasonably priced camera that outperformed the 12mp of my Fuji S5 I finally lost patience.
I borrowed a 7D from a friend and was blown away by the clarity of the 18mp performance, and decided that moving to Canon was the best thing to do.
Maybe one day Nikon will be able to compete, but until they get their act together, it's Canon for me.
