About
My name is Steve and although I have reached the age of 50, I still get a thrill out of old vinyl. I have a vast collection of 45's and a good cross section of LP's. Some 78's are in the collection as well. Period covered 1946-1999.

Johnnie Ray- The Nabob of Sob
Good example of the classic hits period, and at last a decent master recording of "Hernando's Hideaway". All previous hits packages seem to have included an inferior dub of a 45 or 78. Perhaps the master had gone missing from Columbia's vaults until now.

Sailors greatest hits
Straightforward collection from their peak period of popularity of the mid 70's, together with their 1991 euro hit La Cumbia at the time Georg Kajanus returned to the band. Includes two of their best B sides, Panama and Jacaranda, which I played to death when the singles were out. Although popular in the UK during the mid 1970's, as a whole the band was bigger in Europe, probably because they were more akin to the nickleodeon sound, than us Brits. Most of the songs were based on the same basic theme, owing much to the experiences of Kajanus and the band at the time. Basic packaging, with no comprehensive notes etc,but none the less value for money. Get the 70's party going with this one
