Xbox review with pro's and con's
2 of 2 found this helpful I used to have a old xbox which red ringed just after I got the Kinect for it so I bought this item of ebay which came with five games including the long awaited Gears of war three. It has all three Gears of war games and Mass Effect one and two!!
It is a huge improvement with the 250 gb harddrive and even though I have the Ps3, Wii, and DS handsets for the children who have used them and the move I have found that due to batteries and losing parts of controllers the Kinect is superior to the move and helps greatly in co-ordination and education with the option of gameplay when needed. It quickly adjust to an additional player when they enter the playzone and once setup the menus are easy to operate without having to worry about system settings being accidently altered by the kids plus it is much more accurate and physical demanding. The limited edition is super fast and easily setup and the free xbox live setup is sufficent for those who do not want to pay and also use the ps3. A feature that is nice for my home network is the way I can have all system connect to the router and on-line at the same time and the xbox directly to the PC for ease of access to my media centre easily controlled with the xbox remote but it does not stop there, as a on-line gamer using the PC it is great aswell because when playing Red faction on the Pc with windows live I just plugged in the the xbox controller to the usb port and the windows seven operating system automatically installed the drivers needed so I could play the Pc games programed to my xbox remote and can aslo switch the display directly from my monitor to my much larger TV with no problems at all and now have all the systems setup for all my gaming needs. I am only concerned about the upcoming 3d games such as Killzone 3 as evn though the Kinect has great technology I am worried the current xbox hardware might not be able to cope with the software as the ps3 already can using blu-ray disks to hold the extra information, such as Mass effect 2 with two disk etc. Overall I could not be without either party of my home network now lol
