A must see!
A masterclass in filmaking - Kubrick's film, now on BluRay, looks absolutely stunning - if you want to show someone the benefits of HD, then you won't go far wrong with this - and considering it's over 40 years old, is amazing, and shames other filmakers and studios of more recent sci-fi transfers. By now, most people are aware of the multi-layered message, and rather vague 'plot', but the impact is undiminished, and most of technology looks fresh and pretty spot on to contemporary design - both in the structure of the transport vehicles and the control surfaces. In summary - anyone with an interest in film should see this.

It's a soap dish, it's bamboo, it looks great and is well finished and doesn't cost much and so great value.

Not really closed back headphones - too much spillage.
I bought these headphones as a cheap additional pair to be used by musicians whilst I was recording / tracking, and needed a closed back pair to stop spillage from click tracks/monitoring getting to microphones. In this regard these fail miserably - they are not closed back at all - the vents are open, and as such, are useless for the purpose I needed them for. However, as a cheap pair of listening headphones, that are quite comfortable - they do alright, for the money. Bear in mind however, that they really are not closed back - so people next to you will be able to hear what your'e listening to.
