LPG injector cleaner
The symptoms I'd been suffering with for a long time was the engine check light would come on now and then I would read the fault and clear it. Fault would read mixture out of range. Initially thought it was an air leak but after attacking all of the normal culprits and thinking I had found the problem that light would come back on. During the cold weather the car would miss fire a bit when it was cold and was slowly getting worse. Let the car stand and allow the injectors to warm up a bit from the rising heat of the engine and the miss fire would go away. This lead me to surmise it was high ends gumming up the injectors. I had discounted this at first as I change the gas filter regularly and thought this would trap all of the goo. My filter is of the replaceable element type in a plastic holder and there was always goo to be found in the filter bowel, so I thought the filter was doing it's job well.
I am more than capable of taking the injectors off the car and cleaning them on the bench but the weather has been horrid and there are six injectors to do so I thought I would try this "snake oil " first as it looked quick to do. Followed the tutorial on you tube to the letter and engine management light came on as you would expect. Took the care for the recommended drive afterwards and all seemed ok.
Running from cold was the only real test and the car was fine cold too but I'm a really skeptical amateur mechanic, so did not turn off the engine check light myself but to see if the ecu on the car would do it after a couple of cold start runs which it did. I've just returned from a 200 mile round trip and the car computer is showing an average of over 32 mpg average, I was very use to it being 26 mpg ish so it has made it use less fuel too. I'm just a enthusiastic money saver and never take my cars into garages and pay others to do work on them.
All I'm worried now is has the fluid killed my catalytic converter as they can be killed by over fueling and silicone based chemicals, well the mot is in a couple of weeks and I will find out then! But this stuff has saved a long morning in the rain taking the injectors off and taking them apart and putting them back on again.
The car is a 3 liter six pot BMW.

Pro Kleen carpet Cleaner
Bought this cleaning fluid as I am moving into a new house and wanted to clean all of the carpets in one hit before the furniture arrived. I've an inexpensive vax carpet cleaner and set to cleaning using the cleaning fluid I already had and when it ran out about a 1/3 of the way through the house I switched to Pro Kleen and immediately I could see more muck was being sucked out of the carpet by the machine as the extraction part is clear plastic. Kept going throughout the house and returned to look at the area where I changed fluids, I could see a difference so re-did the area that I did first with the famous named product. I'm happy with the product and it does deodoriser too.

Simple but works
I have used mine to strengthen my pistol hold and trigger finger for ISSF 10m air pistol and my hold is very much more stable now, I can over do it at times with the trainer but no damage is done as the springs are not too heavy
