Upgrade for Topping D50s
I bought this as a replacement output stage for my Topping D50s DAC. It's a (fairly) simple plugin replacement, no shouldering required. It sounds more assertive and vivid than the standard device fitted by the manufacturer.

Works well, Good value
Construction is all metal and seems sturdy enough for my needs. I'm stapling A5 booklets which I print on my laser printer. For the money I'm very satisfied and feel what it will last for some time.

Works well but there are a few things you may need to be aware of.
I installed this to act as a client bridge. I use it to connect a blue-ray player with built in Netflix etc. but no WiFi, to my home network. It wasn't feasible to run a wire to it.
Some observations:-
1. 12 digit limit for existing SSID? Although it connected to my WiFi network without issue it wouldn't initially talk to it. When setting the secondary SSID for the repeater I noticed that it would only allow 12 characters. I tried changing my existing network SSID to be 12 characters long (it was 32) and it started to work. This is unusual as I have been using the long SSID for over 10 years with countless devices and no issues. This probably isn’t an issue for most users.
2. Although it works as a client bridge, there doesn't seem to be any way to disable the Access point function. The device has two setup options: Access Point – which connects to internet via its Ethernet connector, and Repeater – which connects to the internet via an existing WiFi network;. In both cases it shows as a second access point on the network, all be it on the same channel as the existing router. Disabling the WiFi in advanced options seems to turn Wireless off completely.
3. Using the default WiFi setup requires you to enter you network password (for your existing network) over an unencrypted wireless link. I tried connecting with a wire but found the DHCP doesn't seem to work on this port requiring a static IP to be configured on my laptop. Also be aware that the default IP of the device is not in the usual range (I can't post ot here as the review page doesn't allow "External links").
