Great Continuation of Part 1
4 of 8 found this helpful If you liked the first installment, this is the continuation. It doesn't answer some of the burning questions left behind by the first one but this one has more storyline that leaves you yearning for more.
Pros:
1) Good story line
2) Good fight engine
3) Lots of CGI movies
Cons:
1) Too many CGI movies (for those that doesn't like it)
2) May not be the conclusion and requires that you play the first one to really know what's going on (or you can just search online for the original story)
3) CGI graphics not as beautiful as the Final Fantasy Series

Not a good followup to VII
11 of 29 found this helpful If you liked any of the Final Fantasy, this is another home run hit. Rather than copy and paste you information, just know that this is another beautiful complex story style RPG game with great CGI and 80+ hours of game play.
Pros:
1) Great Story
2) Self Contained finish to the story
3) Beautiful CGI (though not as good as VII)
Cons:
1) Long hours to power up player
2) VERY VERY hard to beat without fully exploring everything. I suggest you get a guide if you want to spend less time and enjoy the story of the game.

Great RPG
2 of 6 found this helpful This is a great RPG. Some like RPG's for the fighting system and others for the story. This is definitely a STORY style RPG with lots of movie scenes. Though not as beautiful as Final Fantasy in terms of CGI, it makes up for it in story line and number of movie sequences. You will have to buy Xenosaga II to get the next installment. I'm not sure if the second part is the final part as I'm still playing it.
Pros:
1) Good Story Line
2) Lots of movie scenes
3) Good fight engine
4) Hours upon hours of fun
5) Don't need to spend too much time powering up your players as in Final Fantasy
Cons:
1) CGI not as beautiful as Final Fantasy
2) Story not self containted like Final Fantasy (no ending)
