Canon Digital Cameras

Canon offers one of the world's leading ranges of digital cameras, providing excellent devices to capture quality photographs at all levels of ability. Go beyond the limits of smartphone cameras and explore the exciting and creative world of dedicated digital photography.

Different Camera Types

New, used or refurbished or whatever the level of expertise, expectation or budget, there will be a Canon digital camera to match. Principally, the company's camera range is broken down into four general categories: compact, bridge, DSLR and mirrorless.

Canon Compact Digital Cameras

Canon compact cameras are a whole world away from the limited capabilities of smartphone cameras. They have superior sensors, impressive optical and digital zoom and super zoom capabilities with a wide range of easily selectable creative photography modes, all contained within lightweight, pocket-friendly bodies. Compact cameras are also superb at capturing video for social media use.

Canon Bridge Cameras

Canon's bridge digital cameras are a cross between DSLRs and compact cameras. They have a fixed lens but offer the biggest optical zoom that will capture ultra-wide angle shots right through to extreme telephoto shots in one smooth lens movement. Bridge cameras also have advanced features for capturing video.

Canon DSLR Cameras

DSLR cameras feature a mirror system, enabling image previews to be seen in a viewfinder. Canon DSLR cameras have interchangeable lenses and are the ultimate in technology, performance and image quality. There are models for the beginner, enthusiast and professional with features ranging from intelligent auto modes to programmable multi-function controls.

Canon Mirrorless Cameras

Instead of a viewfinder, Canon mirrorless cameras preview images on a screen at the reverse of the camera body. Without a viewfinder, the camera can consequently be smaller and more portable but, with interchangeable lenses, they can offer a great many of the creative photographic opportunities provided by DSLRs in a smaller body.
