This is an 18th Century English pocket compass in shagreen case. The body is brass with worn gilding. The needle is blued steel.

LOOKS TO BE IN GREAT CONDITION, BRASS SHINES BRIGHT AND THE OMNIGRAPH DOES SPIN. LOTS OF DETAIL AND MOVING PARTS. I HAVE SUPERSIZED THE PICTURES SO YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING. COPYING OF MY PHOTOS OR TEXT IS PROHIBITED.

The brass case is in excellent condition. It must also be in the original box (if applicable).

I do not know much about it. It looks to be in Nice Shape. It is 13 1/2" long x 7 1/2" wide. Take a LOOK !

Made of very heavy lacquered brass and standing 4 1/2" high overall on its 4 1/8" square x 3/4" thick solid brass base. Circa 1880. Designed for cutting both plant and animal tissue.

Early 1800's and made from a lovely colour Rosewood. The silver is not Hallmarked but is Silver. The wood all in good condition. There was probably originally a band of silver at the base. Interior is fitted but no contents.

This lot includes 26 vintage surgical medical instruments that are in used condition. There are 19 urethral probes of various gauges and 7 other tools that I'm not completely sure of their technical name but appear to come from the same field of medicine.

R.d. No 416645 dates to 1903-1904. An Antique Trench Wrist Compass. The Glass is in good condition, with only a tiny peripheral chip and light scratch or two, it has no cracks, all as shown. A superb piece, very collectible, quite scarce in this form.

Rare, early brass monocular microscope W. R. Prior - London. For sale 19/20th century W. R. Prior Microscope. The Microscope screws apart easily and all of the contents fits easily and snugly back into the box.

This superb vintage "Britannic" mechanical pinwheel calculator or adding machine is in "as found" condition and has not been repaired or restored. The machine was manufactured by "Guy's Calculating Machines Ltd." of Wood Green, London, N. 22. "Guy's Calculating Machines Ltd". was the only British manufacturer of the Odhner type pin-wheel calculator. The "Britannic" is a copy of the Brunsviga first produced during the first world war. It embodies improvements patented by Frank E. Guy, including a setting-lever clearer device for zeroing the levers by a single movement, interlocking mechanism, and a new barrel construction giving greater rigidity to the setting levers.

GENERAL INFORMATION.

This mechanical calculator or adding machine is in "as found" condition and has not been repaired or restored. This machine has a steel body and cast iron base, which has been lacquered in black. It has "Made in Germany" embossed in to the back. The serial number is No. 9021 The black lacquer is missing in places, mainly, around the numbers, also their are the usual marks, scuffs and scratches that you would associate with the items age and use. There exposed metal work has lost its' plated finish and shows signs of surface rust in places. All of the mechanisms appear to work correctly and the handles rotate fine.

Looks circa 1920s. Cast iron body, bakelite base. Serial number 398526. Includes two electrode wires. There are lots of paint scrapes on the body. Veneer on top is buckling, and the felt inside shows obvious wear.
