Snowbee Fly Fishing Rods

Benefitting from the company's 20+ years in the fishing equipment market, Snowbee fly fishing rods have evolved over time. The lines in their newer rods feature their new XS Nano technology, which has brought more fine and superior finishing to their rods.

Known for their high quality and performance, a Snowbee fly fishing rod is unsurprisingly very popular, whatever their year of manufacture. Their range includes the Classic trout fly rod, spectre fly rod, diamond fly rod and the prestige fly rod.

The Snowbee fly fishing range

The Snowbee classic range consists of new rods featuring four-piece blanks for extra responsiveness. Due to their lower price point, they are suitable for beginners to fly fishing, or for those who are looking for an affordable rod that still offers high quality. You can purchase these in varying lengths and weights, for example, the 7' #3-4 82g/2.9oz, which is perfect for fishing in brooks and streams, or the longer, more powerful 9'6 #6-7 122g/4.4oz, suitable for fishing large still waters or reservoirs.

The Snowbee Spectre range is again very affordable and are made from carbon-fibre. This enables it to feel lovely and light in the hand, whilst delivering smooth and precise un-loading. Similarly to the classic range, these come in a variety of lengths and weights, so be sure to choose the correct one depending on the types of water you wish to fish, from streams to river and loughs.

A very popular Snowbee rod range is the diamond. This range appeals particularly to river fishers as it offers longer, lower line weight models as well as rods suitable for small still waters and reservoirs. The diamond range is great looking also, thanks to its timeless gold graphics, quality cork handles and olive-green burl wood inset.

The prestige range includes their switch rods which can be used either one or two-handed. The 10' 8 #5 switch fly rod is a favourite of trout and grilse fishers and can be cast easily with one hand, or switch for spey casting if you are chasing far off trout.
