Weber is a leading manufacturer of barbecuesand barbecue replacement parts. The company produces gas, electric and charcoal powered models.

If cleaned regularly and stored correctly, barbecue parts should last for many years. However, at some point, it may be necessary to replace certain essential parts or enhance your barbecue with added features.

What Weber replacement parts are available?

For each element of the barbecue, there will be parts that can be replaced. Parts will come in different shapes, sizes and materials. Here are some of the most common items that may need replacing:

  • Control knobs
  • Gas regulators and hoses
  • Cooking and warming grates
  • Rotisseriesand rotisserie drive motors
  • Thermometers and temperature gauges
  • Burner sets and tubes
  • Igniters and ignition kits for electric and gas models

It may also be necessary to replace items such as griddles, handles, ash catchers and drip trays. How often, if at all, these are replaced will depend on how they have been used and maintained.

Fitting Weber replacement parts

Some replacement parts will involve little or no preparation to begin using. For example, a like for like replacement of a grillor drip tray should be very straightforward. However, there may be some replacement parts where careful reading of the manufacturer’s instructions is necessary.

For all items that involve taking the barbecue apart, check any manuals you have been provided with. Here are some examples of procedures you may need instruction on:

  • The fitting of a replacement gas regulator
  • Replacing a rotisserie drive motor
  • Adding a new or replacement temperature gauge

There may also be video tutorials available, which could help when carrying out these processes.

Care and maintenance

After each use of the barbecue, all working parts should be cleaned properly so that no food, oil or grease is sticking to any element. The barbecue and all parts should be stored in a dry place.
