This is a Japanese telephoto zoom lens for the classic Canon FD and FL manual focus SLR cameras such as the A-1, AE-1, T70, T90, F-1 and many others. It's not directly compatible with EOS film or digital models, though adapters are available for these and several other cameras – please read the full description for more details. This one's in good condition, fully working order, and comes with front/rear lens caps.

Focus, zoom smooth. Rear cap, no front cap. It doesn’t affect photos.

Sigma 70-210mm F4.5 Zoom Lens Canon FD Mount.

I've taken a series of pictures with it at various focal lengths. You can see the results here on Dropbox. There isn't a great deal of info on this lens online, but from the Sigma Lounge page, it would seem that this lens was launched in or around 1978.

Crystal clear lens. This lens features continuous focusing (CF) into macro mode with 1:4 macro magnification at the 135mm setting. Maximum aperture varies from F/3.5 at 35mm to F/4.2 at 135mm. The later model 40A lens discarded this model's CF macro ability and instead uses a macro button and macro helicoid, similar to the SP 28-135, to enter the macro mode at the 35mm setting.
