Dolby Atmos Home Audio Receivers

Dolby Atmos home cinema receivers

Get the home cinema experience with Dolby Atmos. Dolby Atmos comes straight from film sets and post-production suites to your living room. Developed in 2012, Dolby Atmos enhances your home entertainment system by offering an amazing audio and video output.

Video

With four HDMI input and one output, the home cinema receiver is capable of showing and converting most videos into 4k. High dynamic range pass through is provided via 4k, resulting in a much superior picture quality, with greater contrast, colour and brightness than ever before.

Dolby Atmos' receiver supports multiple HDR types, ranging from HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision. Control is made easy with the GUI (Graphics User Interface) provided, so you can tweak the visuals however you please.

Audio

What Dolby Atmos is known for is, of course, the audio. Compared to the prior 5.1.2 surround-sound set-up most home cinema systems provided, the Dolby Atmos provides a set up of 7.1, with 64 speakers from the cinema system condensed down to four or six.

Once the home cinema speakers are placed in the living room, they're calibrated, allowing mixers to place sounds and voices in the sound field. Alternatively, they can be auto-calibrated using the Advanced D.C.A.C system, allowing smooth alignment of the speakers. Configure them further with the DTS:X decoding multi-dimensional system, adapting the speakers in real-time.

Overhead dimensions are added to the speaker set-up using special upward-firing Dolby Atmos speakers. With this set-up, sound moves around you and feel as though you are immersed in the situation. Watch and hear how the director intended with descriptive metadata providing customised playback for your personal home theatre. Experience clarity, richness, detail and depth in the stunning sound quality of Dolby Atmos.

Additional Features

A/V receivers from Dolby Atmos also offer useful features such as radio FM compatibility, high-res audio compatibility, conventional stereo playback and Bluetooth connectivity. Play audio from your mobile, PC or tablet in Dolby Atmos surround-sound via Bluetooth.
