Cyma watches is a manufacturer of luxury watches founded in Switzerland in 1862 by brothers Joseph and Theodore Schwob. Cyma is a latin word that means to sprout and the origin of the word summit in French.
Cyma were early pioneers of innovation, even back in 1908, Cyma were advertising the resilience of their automatic timepieces when exposed to electricity, magnetism and varying temperatures.
In the 1950s, Cyma introduced their very own shock proofing system called Cymerflex which Cyma implemented across all their high-end, prestige watches.
