Pinarello Bikes

Pinarello bikes are available in more sizes and variations when compared to other brands. The Dogma is available in 13 different sizes alone. For this reason, when choosing your own Pinarello bike, you need to take into account the sizing, the frame build, the wheels and the geometry.

Pinarello Sizing

Pinarello bikes base the size of the frame on the tube length in the seat. This is measured from the bracket at the bottom to the centre of the top tube. A rider can easily suit more than one frame size, so a lot of it comes down to personal preference. Younger riders tend to opt for smaller frames because it allows them to sit lower and in a more aerodynamic position. Riders who are more experienced tend to go for larger frames as it reduces the amount of pressure that is put on the back and wrists.

Geometry

Most Pinarello bikes are made with road racing in mind. They are stable, incredibly agile and they also help the rider to achieve the highest level of balance between both comfort and speed. The Razha K and Dogma K have a shorter tube and a taller head. This helps to raise the rider's position and it also puts less pressure on the arms.

Rokh and Marvel, however, are both made out of carbon fibre with the same building specifications. Marvel is more suited to training and Rokh more suited to longer racing days.

If a rider is a 51.5cm in Marvel then they would be a 49” in Rokh, to accommodate for the shorter reach and the slightly taller riding position. Pinarello is known for creating a range of road racing bikes and each type of Pinarello bike is suited to a different purpose with plenty of sizing options available.
