There are many motorcycles in Honda's CX series for sale, and though there are significant differences between the various models, they all share some broad similarities. Here are some of them:

• Transmission - The bikes all come with a five-speed manual transmission.
• Engine - All CX motorcycles have V-twin engines. Indeed, they were the first V-twin motorcycles that Honda ever built. All engines are liquid cooled though displacement and power vary from model to model.

When shopping around for used bikes, there are a few things to bear in mind. First, restored or heavily modified motorcycles will typically be more expensive than those that have not been restored or modified. Second, 650 models will usually cost more than 500 models because the former have more powerful engines. Third, bikes with lower mileage will cost more than higher mileage bikes though affordable models can easily be found on eBay.
