The Air Jordan 1 Varsity Red was released on December 23, 2009, in a classic shoe design. It's a low-cut trainer that's a variation on the Jordan Brand’s 25th-Anniversary model. The Jordan Alpha shoe is equipped with features to support your footing as its tall backend aligns over your ankles to give your feet better balance. This version of the Air Jordan 1 features the Varsity Red colourway, although it shows a white leather construction with accents in black and Varsity Red. This version also has a Zoom Air bag, perforated leather portions on the sides, minimal stitching, and a mesh inner lining.
