With a blocky, wavy, assertive silhouette in the midfoot and a sleeker profile up top, the Jordan Proto React Z Bright Crimson fuses traditional NBA style with a streetwear look. Instead of using regular laces to keep the inner booty secure, a zipper along the side of the midfoot makes sure everything stays in place. To replace a traditional shoe tongue, a smooth black flap covers the front from the top of the anterior ankle down to the beginning of the toes. To complement the zipper, a mesh velcro strap wraps around the back heel. The outsole, which has a small perforated section in the front and a treaded look in the back, has a series of herringbone ribs on the bottom for superior traction.
