    Sexiest phone ever made

    Screen and display The screen is beautiful and makes it look like this beast dropped from phone heaven. The inifinity display is something else. Did I mention how beautiful the screen was and how the edges make it impossible to determine where the screen starts and finishes? It would be better to have a more responsive status bar though. The home and lock screen themes options are very good where the display becomes very. 4k video looks beautiful on this screen but to appreciate it you need to actually turn 4k resolution on - this will ultimately cost more battery juice per hour. Midnight black is the blackest phone I have ever seen, but orchid gray with its ever changing tone is also very beautiful and it was a tough call for me to have to decide between them. 5.8 inches seems intimidatingly big, but the display takes up so much of the screen that the phone is actually the same width as my s6( with a size of 5.1 inches). Thus, I would actually prefer to purchase the s8+ as I think an even bigger screen would serve me better. Camera and storage The camera quality is very good and I am pleased at being able to expand the storage by 256 gb. The one criticism about the proximity of the camera lens with the fingerprint scanner is that there's a high chance you will smudge the lens. The back of the phone is also very prone to smudging. Battery life and speed I would have thought that with all the this technical firepower Samsung have I have noticed that the battery life is very good despite having less mA then the s7. The speed of the phone is no different to what you would expect from any Flagship phone. S7 vs S8 If you were in my position where you were looking to upgrade from the s6 the reason why i went with the s8 is that brand new, it is only about £80 more than the s7 and most places charges £30+ for a contract with s7. The screen is incredible.

    Revival of the Flip Phone.

    People often forget about the benefits of the flip phone and having proper buttons. Plus, although the weight is the same of something like the Samsung S8, it is smaller and more pocketable. So far it has done everything I need from an Android smartphone. The screen size would be a limitation if I wanted to watch YouTube and Movies but for regular phone calls, texts and emails it is perfect. As the screen icons can be made fewer and larger I can see it appealing to the elderly - but for them it could be a bit of overkill. My situation is that I have kept my Samsung S8 to use with a PAYG sim on the odd occasion I want a bigger screen. For example to use as a SatNav. When I do I wlll divert my calls from the Flip to the S8. But for normal day to day use it will be the Flip I carry all the time.

    Samsung Galaxy S8 i bought this phone for a great price which was 335 pounds. The Pros The samsung s8 has a UHD display which is spec to 2560x 1440, 4gb of ram great for heavy muti-tasking and high end gaming or heavy programs. Great all round as the phone has glass front and back, with a silver metal trim,also the buttons are metal to match the looks. The battery is a 3000mhz great battery life for a full day by doing heavy gaming or watching movies, and using spilt screen by using 2 apps on screen you can get a good full day out of this phone. screen setting brightness was set at 55 percent Overall a great midrange phone for 2018 to 2019 i will recomend this phone to anyone as long it is under 400. The Cons for me theres one, the phone is very slippery i recomend a case

    Great Phone

    I bought this to replace an ailing samsung S5 .. the screen is less wide than the S5 but turning to landscape gives a good full screen. I am not a gamer but have found the phone to be quick at loading and in its operation. I love the large onboard memory which should last me for a while. I have it protected in a case, and I had to purchase a USB C cable as one was not supplied, I hadnt realised they had changed from the earlier micro usb.. but not a problem I purchased 2 long cables which suit my needs. the S8 suits my needs upto now and look forward to many years with it.

    I like Samsung,

    I prefer Samsung. I did change last time I had an upgrade but found I really do prefer samsung, so I purchased this one, didn't wait for the upgrade to be due. Nice looking phone, took a couple of days to get back into using it, but it is easy to use. Like most smart phones the battery needs charging almost every night, I do wish the manufacturer's could get a battery that lasts a few days, but then I do use my phone a lot.
